MetLink safety campaignIn 2026 MetLink launched their "Press Pauseopen_in_new" campaign during Road Safety Week, reminding pedestrians that, "Your next step matters". Road safety isn’t just focused on pedestrians and drivers says Metlink senior manager for Network & Customer Tamsin Evans. “Our bus passengers are also impacted by risky behaviour on the road.” says Evans. “We all have a part to play in making journeys safer for everyone. We’re encouraging pedestrians to take a few seconds more to get to a crossing because that can make all the difference to a lot of people’s safety.” |
