Road Safety curriculum resources
We will continue to update this theme page with relevant and useful resources from a range of trusted providers. For example, Waka Kotahi NZTA has a dedicated education portal with a range of new and engaging road safety curriculum resources.
These cover all ages, from early years through to secondary school and are suitable for teachers or community coordinators.

In 2025, Road Safety week runs from 12-18 May (week 3 of term 2).
Visit our Road Safety week page for a range of road safety resources to use in your school during and beyond Road Safety week. We have selected some lesson plans and resources from the Waka Kotahi education portal for you, and some resources from NZ Police, Brake, and Greater Wellington.
