This set of resources provide a guide to schools setting up a Park and Stride initiative.

About this resource

Setting up a Park and Stride can be a great tool to alleviate school congestion or road safety issues outside the school gate.  This resource gives staff guidance on what a Park and Stride initiative might look like, how to set one up, and how it could work alongside Walking School Bus or Walking Pou initiatives.  Ideas for a student leadership project as well as a full breakdown of the steps involved are included.
