Paremata School and Porirua City Council
- Paremata School has been working with Porirua City Council over the past ten years to make safety improvements around their school gate. In 2015 they spoke to then Mayor Nick Leggett, “Even though we’re children we can say what we want”

Earth Dreamers: Growing hope in response to the climate crisis
- This resourceopen_in_new has been designed by the Ministry to support the social sciences curriculum for teachers of years to explore the complex global issue of the climate crisis within their local contexts. With a strong emphasis on indigenous knowledge and place-based approaches, the focus is on investigating holistic concepts and taking action.
