Register for Movin'March 2026

Register now for 2026 or find out if your school is already registered.

All schools will receive ‘kinder on the planet’ Walk or Wheel prize packs to support Movin’March. Parents don’t need to register to take part in Movin’March. Check the list below to see if your school is already registered. If not, chat to your classroom teacher or school office to see if they’d like to take part.

Sign up now!

Register now for Movin’March 2026 via Kura Kete. You can start selecting your resources for 2026.

Signing up looks a little different this year. To make full use of our resources, we ask you to register with Kura Kete. During this quick set up, you will be asked if you are the lead teacher for your school. That's it!

  1. Go to: Sign up
  2. Select your school, and please use your school email account. (Don't worry - if you ever change schools we can transfer your data).
    • If your school isn't listed, select "I am part of an organisation" and tell us which one.
  3. Select your newsletter preferences (we can't send you any info if you don't tick this!).
  4. Select your Movin'March option.
  5. Read and agree to our terms and read our privacy policy – they're not too long!
  6. Click on Sign up.
  7. You'll get a 'Verify email' link. Once you click on this, check your Updates/spam folder for an email from "no-reply@gw.govt.nz" with subject "Verify your account". Click on "Verify email address" at the bottom of this message. And you're all done!
  8. Note: If the page doesn't show you as logged in immediately, try refreshing.

Already signed up to Kura Kete or Te Haerenga o ngā Tamariki? Email us instead, and we'll add you to the list.

Takoto noa (piece of cake)!

We will add your school to the list linked below. This is done manually, so please give us a day or two!

And at some point before March, we will send out a pre-Movin'March survey. This will be your opportunity to give us a bit more information, so we can tailor your WoW prize packs and our support to you.

Registrations are open from early November until the end of February 2026.

Sign up for our newsletters, via MailChimp open_in_newor by signing up to Kura Kete and subscribing there.

Your privacy is important to us. Please read our Privacy Statement here: Greater Wellington — Privacy statementopen_in_new

Not the lead teacher?

We still want you to sign up!

All teachers, educators and school staff can sign up with Kura Kete and Te Haerenga o ngā Tamariki.

Your account will give you access to both sites. This will come in handy if you want to use, save and share our learning resources, or enter the WoW Class Competition on Te Haerenga o ngā Tamariki.

When you sign up, you can select to receive newsletters. We use Mailchimp so you can manage your subscription.

Please see our legal page for terms of use and privacy.
