Māehe Manawa Ora | Movin'March 2025
Māehe Manawa Ora | Movin’March has been delivered in more than 80% of the region’s schools since 2009, reaching around 36,500 tamariki each year. Movin’March is a much-loved Greater Wellington programme open to all primary schools in our rohe (region).
In this theme, we have a wide range of topics making it easy for you to pick and choose what works best for your school’s kaupapa or term focus. Not only can you use these during Movin’March, they’re also great at any time of year.
Unpack the many benefits of walking or wheeling as normal everyday experiences. Help ākonga (students) understand that how we choose to travel is also about well-being, connection, the environment, confidence and adventure.
