Kura Kete
Kura Kete is a library of engaging and relevant learning experiences, crafted by teachers for teachers.
Kia ora and welcome to Kura Kete!
Greater Wellington has created easy to use learning resources for schools and educators.

Fostering active and safe transport

- Helping ākonga (students) and whānau (families) to be healthy, safe, and connected with their community.
- Helping teachers with directly relevant and immediately useful resources that ease school gate chaos.
Vision
Greater Wellington’s vision for our region is for a thriving environment, connected communities, and a resilient future.
As part of this, we encourage whānau across the region to use active modes – walking or wheeling – especially for short or frequent trips.
Walking or wheeling to school is fun, healthy, and builds children’s independence. It’s a great way to learn road safety and helps the school community to connect with each other and their neighbourhoods.
